Done in 16 months.
Still want to get toned and lose about 10 more pounds.
I’m 18 and this was done through a reduction of eating and changing to healthier food, lifting, and cardio.
Sooo I fell off the wagon again. Haven’t worked out since this summer. I do still horseback ride once a week, so I am not completely devoid of any type of physical activity.
I have kind of hit a road block though. I quit my part-time job that I was doing in the afternoons after my regular job…and so now I spend the afternoon sitting on my butt. And the scale has gone up just a few pounds, but it isn’t coming off (even though I am still eating right..for the most part) because I am not being active enough.
So it is now time to actually join the gym. I can’t sit on my butt all day at work and then again all night and expect to maintain my weight. So, going to go to my local gym and sign up.
Maybe I will just think of this as an excuse to get some cute new work out clothes!
I hate scales. I wish they told me just how much fat I lost and how much muscle I gained so I wouldn’t feel so bad about seeing the numbers fluctuate so much. But, as tumblr likes to so often remind me, the numbers on the scale don’t matter so long as I see a difference in my own body.
In other news, I am taking the day off from working out. I work all day today (retail job) and we are sure to be crazy busy since it is a holiday weekend. So, I am sure I will be burning some calories running back and forth on the sales floor. And I don’t need to be any more sore than I already am when I have to stand for 7 1/2 hours straight!
The menu today will likely include slimfast for both breakfast and lunch with fruit and veggie snacks in-between. Maybe a greek yogurt. Dinner will be left-over steak from last night and a small side salad.
Yep, that is really me! The only fake part is the shorts I drew on myself cause I didn’t want to be in my underwears.
I have lost a grand total of 33 pounds, but i still have work to do! My problem area, as you can see, is my love-handles. They seem to maintain their roundess even though they get proportionally smaller with the rest of my body. Ugh.
Anyway, I have dropped from a dress size 12 down to a 6…sometimes even a 4!
